*Me coming across Fatima's website was purely incidental. I was so excited upon finding a female Pakistani photographer that I just couldn't wait and called her up at 12 am! She was beyond nice (and very sleepy too) but stayed up to speak with me. She was more than accommodating with my budget and for a couple of months, we exchanged emails back and forth about different ideas. Finally, I got to meet her at my Mehndi where only she was allowed to enter my room and we not only became friends but she also witnessed my crazy bridezilla tantrums. She was beyond patient with the desi standard timing at the mehndi and stayed until late to take all the pictures that we wanted.

She was back early on the wedding day and started the session as soon as my makeup began. She was one of the people along with my makeup artist, sister and friend, who helped me calm the jittery feelings and we shared some great laughs during the makeup session.

After a much needed manicure right after, she also drove me to the hotel venue, dodging rain and crazy traffic on the way. Once we got up to the room, she started taking pictures from the get go. All I knew at that point was that she was clicking all our pictures, exchanging ideas with us, making us pose, etc but I had no idea how beautiful all these pictures were going to turn out! Upon my request, she also sent me a picture the next day for my facebook (any facebook user knows a hot profile picture is a must!) and I kept driving her nuts even after my wedding had ended with different requests here and there.

That was the story of the wedding but what I must share with everyone is how wonderful and talented Fatima is. She's beyond receptive of any ideas you want to throw at her and she will always incorporate her own creativity in it. On your wedding day, she is really there for you with her calm demeanor and beautiful smile, taking pictures that you will always treasure. My family adored her but the best part was that she even made my husband pose and smile for the pictures which is quite rare.
